Hi beauties! As a wedding makeup artist I meet tons of wedding photographers…here is a positive little story about one of those meetings.
I get lots of emails….I mean lots! Bridal inquiries, quote requests, it never seems to end. Going through emails is definitely not my favorite part of the job. I did receive an email this week that genuinely made me smile. A few years ago I worked with Olive Studio-a fantastic wedding photography company. I provided makeup services for a beautiful bride Lilia and her bridal party. Olive Studio Photography was there to photograph the big day. Here are some photos from Lilia’s wedding:
Marilyn from Olive Studio reached out last year and asked to interview me for a piece on their blog called ‘Monthly Muse’. I obviously was flattered and said yes (who wouldn’t want the title of Monthly Muse)! I had kinda forgotten all about it so I was pleasantly surprised when I got the email saying my interview was up. Reading the post made me grin from ear to ear. Marilyn made me look and sound like a rock star! The post also made me take a moment to realize that I am so thankful and blessed to have this wonderful career. I can honestly say that the opportunities that have come my way have been incredible! Pinch me!
