I was recently contacted by La Bride which is an online Wedding-o-pedia. La Bride essentially is a website/blog which discusses wedding preparation tips by the Best Wedding Vendors around the World. Obviously I was flattered for being hand-picked as one of those ‘Best Wedding Vendors’ *BLUSH*! As a Bridal Beauty Expert I was asked what are some no nos when it comes to makeup for your wedding.
The 3 tips/guidelines I suggested are:
1. Don’t do something outside of your own makeup comfort zone…a good example is Airbrush Makeup. It really isn’t for everyone.
2. Try to avoid makeup trends of the moment. A good example is a lot of brides from the 70’s wore blue eyeshadow all over their eyes as this was a huge trend.
3. Use a natural looking false eyelash instead of a heavy set that looks very theatrical.
